We have recently added Paypal donations to our website, since we know some generous souls who want to support the Concordes would like to make easy, immediate payments online. As a self-funding charity with small membership charges, the Concordes often depend on the generosity of charity donations and local grants. Another way you can help the Concordes - at no cost to you - is by shopping online. Our club secretary, Tina, explains:
"We have found a website that enables us to benefit when you do your shopping on-line. The website is www.easyfundraising.org.uk.
To help us, you need to register on the website, just giving your name, email address and making up a password. You then name the charity you want to support. There is a drop down list, or you can type in Concorde Wheelchair Dancers of Bristol.
Once you are registered, if you go into the website and log on (you can set it, so the site will remember you, rather than have to log on to it each time). You can then select one of the hundreds of online shopping sites, eg Amazon, Tescos, John Lewis, BHS, M&S, Boots, Argos, Ebay, etc etc. Each of the companies will donate a small percentage of the amount you spend with them to our charity, and IT DOESN'T COST YOU A THING!
I booked a few days away with Warner's hotel and made £10.80 for the Concordes.
There is also a website that is linked to the above site, called www.easysearch.org.uk which you can use when just searching the web. Use it instead of Google, and this site will also donate a few pence when a number of searches have been made. Links to both easyfundraising and easysearch can be found right here on the front page of www.wheelchairdance.co.uk ."
